::NEW REQUIREMENTS FOR WEDNESDAY START TODAY::
Students will need to log into their Canvas page and log into each of their classes. Students do not have to check in at any specific time. They can check their calendar, check their to do list, watch a video - the list is endless - but they need to do it for each class. This is the only way we have figured out that we can take attendance on Wednesdays since there aren't many "live" classes. Many students are turning in assignments on Wednesdays through Canvas - and a few are actually in classes or tutoring sessions on Wednesdays - for those classes students don't have to do a thing as long as they are logging into Canvas classes. If students do not log into these classes, they will be marked absent on that Wednesday.
If students are really worried about being marked absent-- the best way to ensure "attendance" is to submit an assignment or to message the teacher. Otherwise, the teachers should be able to pull a report that tells the teacher which students were active on Canvas, so any activity on Canvas at any point on Wednesday, even outside of school hours, would count

Los estudiantes deberán iniciar sesión en su página de Canvas e iniciar sesión en cada una de sus clases. Los estudiantes no tienen que registrarse en ningún momento específico. Pueden consultar su calendario, consultar su lista de tareas pendientes, ver un vídeo (la lista es interminable), pero deben hacerlo para cada clase.
