The college and career center will be closed today.
Congratulations to the Forest Grove FFA Ag Sales teams who competed at
the Northwest District Ag Sales Contest in Tillamook on Monday.
The Advanced A team placed 3rd - Braelyn Marino was 5th high individual,
with Cecilia Juenemann, Valeria Barraza and Luke Flowers.
The Advanced B team placed 3rd - Harper Crowell, Miles Shaw, Tucker
Christensen and Ali Agalzoff,
And the Beginning Team placed 1st - Takaeo Verlinden and Jack Roth tying
for 1st place high individual, Jax Marino 5th high individual, and Landon
Murray 9th individual. Great job teams!
Forest Grove High School is starting a winter guard! What is a winter
guard? It's a competitive indoor performance sport similar to color guard.
It combines dance, choreography, and the use of flags, rifles, sabres, and
more. Come check it out at the "Try-It-Outs" today and tomorrow,
November 12th & 13th from 5-7pm, here at FGHS. For more information,
scan the QR code on the Winter Guard posters or ask Mr. Schlazer.
This week we are collecting donations for a food drive next Monday. Please
bring in whatever you are able to bring, we will be hosting the drive at the
food pantry on Monday 11/17. You can bring your food to the main office,
counseling office, or if there is a donation box in your teachers classroom.
Attention boys basketball players: Tryouts are next Monday and Tuesday,
November 17th and 18th at 3:45 pm if you are trying out for the high school
teams this winter. Make sure you are registered on Final Forms and see
Coach Roche if you have any questions.

Amelie! Step into the magical world of Amelie Poulain (Ah me lee Poo Lan),
where small acts of kindness ignite happiness and connection. The show
features Theatre, Choir and Band students and runs November 14th-23rd.

¡Felicitaciones a los equipos de Ventas Agrícolas de la FFA de Forest
Grove que compitieron en el Concurso de Ventas Agrícolas del Distrito
Noroeste en Tillamook el lunes!
El equipo Avanzado A obtuvo el 3.er lugar: Braelyn Marino fue la 5.a
mejor individual, junto con Cecilia Juenemann, Valeria Barraza y Luke
Flowers.
El equipo Avanzado B también obtuvo el 3.er lugar: Harper Crowell,
Miles Shaw, Tucker Christensen y Ali Agalzoff.
Y el equipo Principiante obtuvo el 1.er lugar: Takaeo Verlinden y Jack
Roth empataron en el 1.er lugar individual, Jax Marino fue el 5.o mejor
individual y Landon Murray el 9.o. ¡Excelente trabajo, equipos!
¡La Preparatoria Forest Grove está formando una guardia de invierno!
¿Qué es una guardia de invierno? Es un deporte de exhibición
competitivo bajo techo, similar a la guardia de color. Combina danza,
coreografía y el uso de banderas, rifles, sables y más. Ven a conocerla
en las pruebas de selección hoy y mañana, 12 y 13 de noviembre, de
5:00 p. m. a 7:00 p. m., aquí en FGHS. Para más información, escanea el
código QR en los carteles de la Guardia de Invierno o pregunta al Sr.
Schlazer.
Esta semana estamos recolectando donaciones para una colecta de
alimentos el próximo lunes. Por favor, trae lo que puedas. La colecta se
realizará en el banco de alimentos el lunes 17 de noviembre. Puedes
llevar tus donaciones a la oficina principal, a la oficina de consejería o,
si hay una caja de donaciones en el salón de clases de tu maestro/a,
¡adelante!
Atención jugadores de baloncesto masculino: Las pruebas para los
equipos de la escuela secundaria este invierno serán el próximo lunes y
martes, 17 y 18 de noviembre, a las 3:45 p. m. Asegúrense de estar
registrados en Final Forms y consulten con el entrenador Roche si
tienen alguna pregunta.
